I finally gave up & installed an SVN server. I ve been needing one for a while now & well – this is it! 🙂
I was happy to commit that wad of code and documents & be confident never to lose it again 😉 I’ll need to create a backup scheme and Ill set up a temp backup scheme asap. & Ill get a decent backup going after the fileserver upgrade on the old fileserver hardware.
The SVN runs on the Soekris and will soon be authenticating on the new LDAP (also running on the soekris since I need those to be online always – ldap login wont exactly work – without the ldap online) server. But thats for later, now I’m just happy to be able to store my code somewhere 🙂 & Versioning will be awsome for eSwitchpad 🙂 And ofcourse, Ill have to clean up the svn server definition & create a new virtualhost 🙂 But .. not now 🙂
Hooray for SVN!
