With the upcoming snow, I hope to be able to snowboard in Lede.
We will at least need some centimeters of snow to have some fun. And I hope they will fall soon enough though today has been a dissapointment 
Where though I hear everyone thinking.. Well, Lede’s skatepark!

We ‘ve still to try this, but I am confident that with a decent quarterpipe (on the right in the picture), we’ll be able to have some freestyle fun! The pipe is about shoulderheight and should provide the necessary speed. The other jumps and ramps and box in the picture should be enough to get some air!
And if placed right, the rail should provide some grinding fun too!

The darkness might be annoying. We checked the spot yesterday at around 9, which is surely a time when we would still be at it, all being serious working men, professionals in our individual trades. Yet with a few well placed cars blasting their headlights, this should be entirely alright! 🙂
Cant wait for the snow to cover it all!
(A colleague considered the idea of creating snow to hasten the process, apparently finely spraying water should be enough.. but I fear that wont really be an option.. Still exploring the possibility though)
Edit: If not Lede, then at least Aalst!
