Updated the Aspire One

I just finished the update on Viona’s Aspire one. Ubuntu 8.10 to 9.10

Its like winXP to win7
Except that she ll barely notice it. She ll notice faster whatever times and different graphics. and that ll be about it..

And still the majority of people persist in telling me the MS is the superior system? Its all about the value (ie what you pay for it) and the Stockholm I guess..

Also – Im happy to report that where the 8.10 still required some tinkering to get the whole machine going (notably the sound), the 9.10 does this out of the box! Everything just Works.
