I just checked out Jane Monheit following the advise of last.fm based on her likeness to Diana Krall. And after checking her out, I realize what I like about Diana Krall so much. Its the vitality, the energy in the music.
The same song by Jane makes me a bit drowsy; and even slightly bored; where Dianas version really energises me, makes me feel happy & hoppy 🙂
And another piece of the puzzle of my musical preference falls in place.
