Wondering if I can use Google Listen as a tool for listening to (preferably multi part) audiobooks..
So lets throw an audiobook at it
Part of the thing will be correctly having the audio referred to in the feed; so Ill just cheat here till it works ![]()
Any audiobook, really – And Im curious about this house of holes thing

You wont be able to download this though; the file is on my private network

So far for the lazy road
Ill have to craft a real file for the rss feed to read; I’ll undoubtedly find the time to do that soon!
Wooot. it does work; file is downloading as I type
Cool!!
Now to brew a decent system around this; mucho automatico & all that
Downloading a 200mb file doesnt work too good. It works but hell
Ill have to put in a system for automatically splitting the big files before generating the rss file – can do
fun!
Turns out its awesome!
Works great
Trying Smart AudioBook Player https://market.android.com/details?id=ak.alizandro.smartaudiobookplayer while considering the necessary perl code to generate a feed from a directory for goog listen use..
