Its Great to have a real ending too. Instead of too much of those series just [...]

These last few days

Posted: 31st July 2009 by Gert in Maine Coon, Work

I had an eventful last few days. First there was the job thing. Then the Carouso scare and then today there was the First Warmachine 500 points battle!
Job related
After a frustrating ride, I yesterday signed my contract at the new place and turned in my resignation at the current place More info on [...]

Warmachine Faction Deck MKII

Posted: 30th July 2009 by Gert in Games

I bought the Khador Faction Deck MKII today. I thought I was buying a deck with the new Warmachine MKII rules, but apparently, those are Not what I just bought! I apparently bought a deck of normal cards, pretty color cards, undoubtedly to replace the old black and white ones.

Now I do wonder.. How should [...]

We played the Summers heat act 3 – Scenario 8 – Smoke on the Water (Escalation Pg 194) where 2 barges cross eachother on the river & the player controlling the last barge wins. A super FUN [...]

I must lament the baleful state of my server room.
My Kabouter fileserver gave out before we left for warmer regions and booting it now, the problem appears graver that I would have thought. I have no clue yet to what extent the damage actually spans, but I am sad to report that the symptoms are [...]

Another brawl with the telenet people

Posted: 27th July 2009 by Gert in Interwebs

They really DO suck. Though I happily admit that this was the quickest resolve to date. Exceptional really. Though rather marking the exception of this gratification than as a quantifier. This morning internet was erroring out & after a lengthly phone call, the internet connection is now restored.
Galling service really!
