Windows 7

Lotsa people are pointing out that there is no way to count the windows versions and get to this being the 7th version.
Have these people considered the NT branch?

so NT3; NT4 ; Win2K; WinXP; Win Vista; Windows 7
Lol – doesnt work either. Funny! Windows 7 would ‘ve been the 6th version. Anywho; they probably simply dont count Vista :) & lets be honest.. They shouldnt :) Vista is the ME of this millenium. Or probably rather of the 2000s. Like we ll have another one of those in te 2010s.

    Actualy WinXP should have been 6.

    NT3 -> 3
    NT4 -> 4
    Win2K -> 5
    WinXP -> 5.1
    Win2003 -> 5.2
    Vista -> 6
    Windows 7 will be officialy 7, but in code it will be 6.1 for backward compatibility with Vista…
